Teach English in China

Teach for Friendship Foundation (TFF) was created in 2002 in response to requests from Chinese educational institutions for native English speakers to help strengthen their students’ ability to speak English and build bridges of friendship between China and the United States.

Since its creation, TFF, a Tucson, Arizona, nonprofit organization, and its teachers have successfully engaged thousands of students in China and elsewhere in oral-English programs. Our programs focus not only on helping students speak English more clearly and confidently but also on cultural exchange between teachers and students.
All of our schools provide teachers with free accommodations with Western facilities. Teachers also receive a “cost of living” stipend paid by their Chinese educational institution. Although small by American standards, it is sufficient to pay for food, laundry and other items. Additionally, you will usually be provided with a teaching assistant/translator who will help you in many ways. Teachers are responsible for their own airfare. Our travel bureau consultant can arrange reasonably priced fares.
HUST Street The TFF experience is for people who wish to gain a deeper understanding of an important world culture through firsthand experience, living in the country and working and interacting with students, faculty, and townspeople.

Applicants must be native English speakers in excellent health with at least a bachelor's degree in any field.

Written applications and in-person or telephone interviews are required.

You’ll find details about our exciting teaching opportunities for 2010 in TFF Programs.
